Cordiant Tech Gurus was born from the intersection of successful technology entrepreneurship and a vision to transform hospitality technology.
Co-founder Dennis Paul built his first technology company in the late 90s, pioneering a global services model that delivered India-based technology expertise to enterprise clients worldwide. His journey as a serial entrepreneur gave him unique insights into building successful technology businesses that leverage global talent for specialized solutions.
Co-founder Dilip Radhakrishnan has built and continues to operate multiple successful tech-driven companies, bringing deep strategic and operational expertise to the Cordiant vision.
It was during their extensive business travels that the seed for Cordiant for Hospitality was planted. Staying in hotels around the world, they experienced firsthand the disconnect between hospitality's high-touch promises and its fragmented technological reality. As frequent travelers, they observed the challenges both guests and staff faced with systems that didn't effectively communicate with each other, leading to repetitive questions, lost information, and fragmented experiences.
Their perspective as outsiders—as customers rather than industry insiders—allowed them to see possibilities that those entrenched in hospitality technology traditions often missed. They identified a significant opportunity to apply their expertise in building global technology service businesses to the hospitality sector, with a specific focus on Opera Cloud and the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP).
In 2019, inspired by advances in cognitive science and AI, they began exploring a radical new approach: What if hotel technology could be built to mirror the cognitive functions of the human mind—maintaining focus on goals, adapting control as circumstances change, and preserving context across thousands of interactions?
This vision led to the development of CordiantOne's cognitive architecture and the establishment of Cordiant Tech Gurus as a specialized provider of Opera Cloud services and solutions, combining their entrepreneurial expertise with a deep understanding of hospitality technology needs.
